Mike Fisher and Kaida Liang of the WaSH MEL team led a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) workshop in Burkina Faso from February 9-13, 2015. The workshop participants represented different WaterAid WaSH programs in West Africa including Mali, Ghana, Niger and Burkina Faso. Also in attendance were WaterAid’s local partner organizations such as Verana, as well as local government representatives. We were pleased to have Petri Autio and Romain Broseus from WaterAid UK and WaterAid America join us for the training session as well. Together, we learned about the tools and ways we can apply CQI to improve WaSH programming.
The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation is supporting efforts by its partners to create and refine advanced monitoring and quality improvement tools for the WaSH sector, and to share these tools broadly with WaSH stakeholders across Ethiopia and beyond.
